Sunday Sketches

This week I played around and created something a bit different than I would normally do. Since Spring has officially kicked off, I felt like doing something a bit more fun and 'bright', and this is what I came up with. I kind of like it and am eager to see it in color.

What do you think? (Minus the massive lady bug! ha-ha) Is it still me or should I toss it aside and go back to my usual sketches? :)

  1. Variaty is the spice of life, Sophia. It's lively and fun and, I hope, reflects your mood at the moment. You sound brighter with a sense of positivity. I think that Spring gets us like that. New beginnings and all that. It is good to have some different levels to your work. XXXX

  8. This is so Spring! I love the toadstool / mushroom. The flower attached to the letter in hello is great too. I do that all the time when I am writing little notes to people. Would love to see this in color...

  9. I think it is adorable, and would look fabulous in bright colors! You have to draw what you feel, and since you (and me) are anxious for spring, this is perfect.

I did my Sunday sketch, but am not sure if I am supposed to fill out the mr. Linky thing again...I'm a wee bit confused, oh well, that's nothing new, lol!

  18. I like this. The lady bug isn't too big - instead, it reminds me of the swarms of ladybugs that come into my house in the spring - it's really strange, they just get in all the cracks and they're all over the inside of the house.
